April 28, 2010.  Butterfly Lady Pat Miller will share her expertise in Monarch Butterflies.  Fresh from Mexico and their winter home she will share hands on education of the life cycle of the Monarch.  She is by far one of the most ethusiastic speakers I've seen.  So much to learn about this fascinating creature.  Pat hand raises up to 500 morachs a year before tagging and releasing them to return to Mexico.  

 

May 26, 2010  Lunar Gardening by Dawn Engersall.  Learn about this fascinating aspect and approach to gardening by the moon.  When to plant, fertilize and weed by the moon (a little howling too maybe).  Dawn is a Wicken(sp) and I'm hoping she will share a little insight into this woman and earth centered zen.

June 30, 2010  Private Garden Party at Liz Shroaders house.  Dot has a craft to share. 

 

July 28, 2010  We will have yet another wonderful garden party at Judy Carlson's home.  I hear she has a new greenhouse and pool to show us.  A visit to her home (as well as other members) is a delight.

 

SATURDAY (not a Wednesday) August 28? 2010 Sue Frost will share her delightful yard, home and lake.  Meal will be catered and we are asking one desert per car.

Oct 29, 2010  We discussed getting someone to do a workshop on tool care.  A great subject for men and women.
